The model. TRX 850.

The Yamaha TRX is an 849 cc two-cylinder Parallel Twin motorcycle, manufactured by the Yamaha Motor Company of Japan. Based on the Yamaha TDM 850 engine the TRX first came out in 1995 in Japan and 1996 in Europe. With 83.8 Nm of torque, and 61 kW (82.9 HP) its engine has a a 270 degree firing order for better power delivery. (Japanese version is slightly different from the European version.) It's a bike that gives you lots of riding pleasure, it handles very well and overall is a bike with character.
It never was a big seller in Northern Europe and was overshadowed by bikes such as the Honda VTR 1000, Suzuki TL1000 and Ducati 916. In 1999 Yamaha stopped production.

This model is a great bike, good handling, quick response and good torque. Other of his properties is the easy dismantle to take it in pieces, easy mantenancie operations, and the oportunitiy to buy a lot of spare parts in the used market (ebay, local pages, forums, pieces from crashes,etc..) becase the YAMAHA TDM 850/900 was/is a best seller motorcycle. And don´t forget the XTZ SUPERTENERE.

I think that in the australian market was sold until 2001. This country count a lot of TRX owners & web pages. In Spain this is a very rare bike on our roads, when I ride with my TRX a lot of people ask me about which model oh the yamaha range is, ...if is a DUCATI with YAMAHA engine, etc......

The bike had a powerfull sound , music to me , and riding it I enjoy  like a child with new shoes.
